Forgot to post a picture of the ladies at our clam feed last night. Even though these pictures show the guys and girls at separate tables, we were better able to mingle and visit than our previous get together at The Classic Club....
Lori,Pam,Sharon,Jan,Terri and me
Join us in our 7th year on the road, probably the last year in the 5th wheel. We're expecting Grandchild # 2 and we'll be heading up to Washington for the big event in August.

Clam Feed
Cooling off in Wayne and Sharon's Pool
One last get together to enjoy some clams and friends at Wayne and Sharons. The temperatures have been over 100 degrees the last two days but it was pleasant tonight at Wayne and Sharon's gorgeous home.
Bruce,Wayne,Roger,Lee,Kirk and Jack
Thanks to Lee and Jan for the clams!

Twenty Five Days...
Jack and I used my last free pass to The Living Desert this morning. He met my goats and made the appropriate comments but I don't think he loves them as much as I do.
Our guest room bed is covered once again with things we need to pack in the 5th wheel...sheets,blankets,towels,winter clothing (don't forget we're headed to Washington!) Jack cleaned out the kitchen cupboards and sorted through the canned stuff to decide what we'll take and what we'll give to our gardener. We're trying to lighten up this year, simplify, go green....no not that last one actually.
We leave in 25 days.....

Sand and Crap
We went over to the RV storage lot today so Gary L. could retrieve his truck canopy, (which was stored in front of the 5th wheel). Jack emptied the storage bin (underneath) and I cleaned out the Rat Hole...a catch all shelf. I also emptied all the canned goods out of the cupboards. We are giving them to our gardener and lightening our load. After 7 years on the road we now know what we need/use/want/can't live without....I basically wear the same 4 T-shirts all Summer, but MUST have an abundance of dishtowels (10 plus)..go figure.
With the recent heavy winds, the sand has really piled up in the RV lot between the 5th wheel and the fence. The 5th wheel will require some major cleaning before we leave this year. So far it looks like I will be following Jack in my car again this year. It provides a more economical means of transportation for us besides the diesel sucking truck, in addition to a second vehicle. I don't really mind driving solo. We are always within cell phone distance and co-ordinate our rest stops so we're not out of touch.
Looking forward to hitting the road!
